About Monica Poling

Hi there! I’m Monica Poling, the founder and chief strategy advisor at Sounding Line Consulting. Throughout my career I’ve had the good fortune to have identities, including marketer, world traveler, non-profit pro, and unapologetic data nerd. Mostly, I’m an avid storyteller.

I love finding the “wow” in any story, whether I’m reading a market trend report or speaking with a local business owner who is sharing their personal history. I love helping people define their own “wow” and showing them how to share that to grow their businesses.

I have also presented “building your wow,” and other topics, including audience development and marketing at various conferences around the country, including the American Indian Tourism Conference (AITC), the Native American Tourism of Wisconsin (NATOW) annual conference, Travel and Tourism Marketing Association conference and the Los Angeles Travel & Adventure Show.
